Satellite TV or Cable TV? - My Story
Hello, my name is Bo. I created this site to gather and share information on both satellite and cable TV services for my own decision. I just purchased a 46" SONY LCD TV during this year's Thanksgiving Day. And since then, I've been able to watch only DVDs and BlueRays. Two RCA TV antenna after, my wife and I decided to order a HDTV service but we now have a big dilemma.
Satellite TV or Cable TV?
Honestly? I have no idea at this point. I will be doing some deep research on this topic and share the results with you. No one wants to get into a 1 or 2 year contract with a TV provider without actually understanding clearly what you are getting for your buck.
I hope you find this site useful for making a decision for your TV service.
Meet My TV - SONY Bravia 46" 1080p LCD HDTV
I know I know.. it's not the best one out there and it's not even 120Hz. It's 60Hz! But that was the best one I could at the time with with my budget. So no laughing please :)
This TV was on sale for $999.99 from $1,199.99 (now it's $999.99 without sale). Believe or not, this one was the last one in stock including all Target stores around my area. So I grabbed it at the site without checking prices in other store. That was a big mistake. Best Buy was selling it for $869.99 that week. Thankfully, Target matched the price and refunded the difference.
By the way, you can purchase SONY Bravia 46" LCD HDTV for less on the web with no tax.
Satellite vs Cable - The Research Begins...
Let's get back to the topic; Satellite TV or Cable TV?. I don't know yet, but I'm starting my research today and post what I learn on this website as I learn more about the TV service providers and their special offers, so stay tuned.
